Zhang Long

Mr Zhang Long

PhD Student



Zhang Long is a full-time PhD student at HKU Sociology. He received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Nanjing University and Peking University respectively. He once worked as an intern at the Development Research Center of the State Council in Beijing.

He is currently focusing on the transition of doctor-patient relation in urban China since 1949, and he is especially interested in the transition of professional ethics and trust situation in medical system, which he regards as a case to explore the moral consequences of institutional transformations.
