Lok Lee is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Hong Kong, where she also completed her Master's degree in Criminology. In 2022, she broadened her research experience as a visiting student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley.
Lok Lee’s research spans several areas, including criminology, political sociology, policing, social movement studies, and the nexus of technology and crime. She examines the interplay between law enforcement and social changes and how this affects social interactions. Additionally, her research investigates how technological advancements influence deviant behaviours and social movements.
