Wang Mengyi is a full-time Ph.D. student at HKU. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the Huazhong Agricultural University, two master’s degrees in Social Work from the China University of Political Science and Law in 2019, and Social Policy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2020, respectively.
She mainly uses qualitative methods to understand criminology and related issues. Especially how diversified informal governance institutions work in civil society or under imprisonment conditions.
