
Mingjing is a full-time Ph.D. student at HKU sociology. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and economics from UC San Diego.
She mainly uses empirical data and quantitative methods to understand how big data is used in Social Credit System in China as well as its socio-cultural implication. Her current research interests include economic sociology, cultural sociology, and computational social science.
