Min’er Ye is a full-time PhD student at HKU Sociology. She received her bachelor’s degree in international trade and economics from Hohai University and master’s degree in strategic marketing from Imperial College London.
Before her PhD study, she worked as an assistant researcher in Shenzhen Qianhai Institute for Innovative Research. She led and participated in various policy-making consulting projects ranging from youth development in Greater Bay Area, industrial policy, to free trade agreements.
Her research interests include social stratification and inequality, sociology of education and work, youth development and gender studies.
