Jiatong Li is a researcher in social stratification and well-being, with particular interests in child and adolescent development, educational inequality, and disparities in well-being. His research examines how processes within educational institutions—including teachers’ evaluations and attitudes, students’ friendship networks, and parental involvement—reproduce or mitigate social inequalities. He also investigates how digital technologies interact with preexisting social inequalities.
