Zhensheng LIN is a full-time PhD student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Hong Kong. Before joining HKU, he received his Master’s degree in Gender Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on two core topics: (homo)sexualities and migration. He examines how migration policies and gay rights shape integration outcomes among Chinese gay migrants, with particular attention to the intersections between sexuality, policy, and social belonging. He also explores gendered and sexual experiences across various social contexts, including workplaces, dating platforms, and family settings.
