  • This course looks at different ways of researching media, culture, and creative cities from the multidisciplinary perspective. It covers a range of theories and techniques related to research design, data collection (e.g., questionnaire survey, interview, observation, and secondary data), data analysis (e.g., discourse analysis and statistical analysis), report writing and presentation, and research ethics.

This course will be interactive and collaborative. In each class, students will be encouraged to actively join discussions with peers and the instructor. Students will also conduct an original research project based on their interest and experience, using the concepts and methods covered by lectures.

    2. Identify and use proper research methods in accordance with research aims and feasibility.
