This course aims to teach students how to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills they acquired through the programme. The dissertation is a component of the curriculum designed to foster small group research. Consequently, in addition to successfully completing eight taught courses, candidates must write a dissertation of a reasonable length (pending on actual group size) on an approved topic. Students have to develop a research topic and work on it over two semesters. Students will work in groups under the direction of a supervisor appointed by the Department. Assessment of the dissertation will be based on progress reports, oral presentation and a final written report. The final written report shall be submitted and presented not later than June 30 of the final academic year of study.
*Individual project will only be considered on an exceptional basis and approved by the programme director.
